pitchroofing.com
A roofing site rebuilt from the ground up.
Client: PITCH Roofing
A full rebuild of PITCH Roofing's website on a custom WordPress theme, replacing a page builder and a stock theme. Every section, menu, FAQ and schema graph is part of the theme, so the site is faster, cleaner and easier for search engines to understand.

Why rebuild
The old site ran on a page builder with a stack of plugins for menus, FAQs, phone numbers, tables of contents and ads. Each one added weight and markup, and together they slowed every page down. The rebuild moved all of it into one custom theme, so the site only loads what a page actually uses.
What the theme does
Section system
Hero with estimate form, project spotlight, reviews, video, FAQ, team, damage signs and more, all editable in WordPress.
Native mega menu
Built into the theme, replacing a menu plugin.
Schema graph
One automatic JSON-LD graph: RoofingContractor, Service, FAQPage, HowTo, VideoObject, BlogPosting and Person.
FAQ system
An FAQ post type with categories, holding 76 migrated questions.
Areas We Cover
A Florida county map with geocoded local pages.
Office aware phone numbers
The right office number on every page, replacing a rotator plugin.
Redirect map
More than 120 stored 301 redirects so old links keep their value.
Article contents
An automatic contents list on blog posts.
Instant navigation
Speculation rules prerender likely next pages.
Tiny lightbox
A 4.2 KB vanilla lightbox in place of a jQuery plugin.

The migration
Moving a live business site means nothing can break. Old page builder content was converted at render time, so FAQs, tables and video embeds written for retired plugins still display correctly. Seventeen landing pages were converted to ordinary pages with their URLs intact, market pages moved into a proper services structure with 301 redirects, and the sitemap was cleaned down to real, indexable URLs.
Plugins built alongside it
The rebuild came with a set of in house plugins that took over from third party ones: Slover Asset Optimizer for CSS and script loading, Slover Image Optimizer for WebP and AVIF, GBP Multipost for Google Business Profile posts, and AccuLynx Sync Pro for lead capture and scheduling.
Questions
Why move off a page builder?
Page builders load their own CSS, JavaScript and markup on every page. A custom theme loads only what each page uses, which is how the rebuilt site reached mobile PageSpeed scores up to 99.
What schema does the site use?
One JSON-LD graph generated by the theme: RoofingContractor, Service, FAQPage, HowTo, VideoObject, BlogPosting, and Person for authors.
Did the rebuild change URLs?
Most URLs stayed the same. Where pages moved, more than 120 stored 301 redirects send visitors and search engines to the new address.
